2ne1 is now a trio: Minzy officially leaves 2NE1

First, I apologize for my lack of posting. I'm working hard on creating a better quality of life for me. Secondly. I saw a video from Hallyu Back (A Youtube Channel) entitled "2NE1 Breaking Up Permanently". After reading a few articles online, this proved to be true. Sadly, I kind of guess this would happen when I talked about all the hate surrounding 2NE1. I actually thought CL would be the first to leave since she has been working on her solo career a lot.

We can't blame anyone for 2NE1 breaking up. The way that K-pop groups are set up are doomed to fail. It's rare for group members to know each other before they are made into a group. So in a way they are forced to get along for the sake of the group, this could either be great or this can end up poorly. This doesn't really happen in places outside of Asia, it just doesn't really work out a lot. They are forced to perform together when in reality they might have different interests and musical tastes. This can really weigh on someone's psyche.

2NE1 was one of the greatest groups to come out of South Korea. It sucks that YG didn't use them a lot in 2015. A lot of groups do that "comeback" routine which is bullshit. Anyone knows you have to choose the right time to start performing again in most cases the companies choose to wait too long before releasing a track. What fans don't really care about is that the group's are not in control of themselves. They are the contracted slaves of whatever company they signed to. The owners of the companies get to decide the style of the group, the lyrics of the songs, etc. It's not like in America or England in which the group has control over everything.

Sadly, 2NE1 is still contracted to YG until later in this year. 2NE1 was my favorite K-pop group but they really just disappeared in 2015. CL did her badly done "Bad Bitches", Dara was the leading star in several web dramas, and Bom was suffering due to her scandals. What was Minzy doing? Nothing, she doesn't even have her own Wikipedia page. Minzy was contracted to YG way before she was a member of 2NE1 and the group was fully together for 7 years. Minzy does not have a solo song or a solo career for that matter. Bom, CL, and Dara all re-signed with YG so 2NE1 will still be making a comeback later this year as a trio. Although, Minzy didn't really have any real moments as a member of the group. She was really a backup vocalist and the main dancer. I kind of feel like she wanted to break out of being the young one in the background.

I think YG might try to replace Minzy in the future with another younger singer and I don't think that will play out right. 2NE1 had chemistry in all of their performances and videos. That chemistry is hard to re-establish with a new member. I truly believe all blame should fall onto YG for not managing his artists better. Minzy is a great dancer, she could have been featured in other group's videos as a dancer or did the guest vocals on someone else's song. YG did nothing with her talent, so I'm happy that Minzy had the courage to walk away. It sucks having talent and not being able to have your own career. Can you imagine how Minzy felt after all these years watching her fellow 2NE1 members have careers outside the group while she wasn't able to do nothing? It would fucking suck!

Truthfully, I think YG doesn't really care at all about this group. I think he only sees dollar signs because of how famous internationally 2NE1 has gotten. He didn't really even protect Bom with all of her scandals but states he wants to "protect 2NE1".

Is this the end of 2NE1?

2NE1 was to me the greatest girl group in all of Korea. They were on their way to becoming more known than labelmate Big Bang. It was to be suspected as I think 2NE1 has more talent than Big Bang. But the group has come under fire so much, I doubt that they will be able to pick themselves up. Each member has basically broken off to do their own things.

Park Bom was attacked with plastic surgery allegations, but they slowed down as the group took on the industry and were winning. She was also yelled at for cursing on a variety show called Roommates. She was justified because the incident scared the hell out of her. She was in the backseat of a car with her a few of co-stars. When the idol in the car kind of lost control of the car due to lack of sleep and the car swerved off the road for a moment which resulted in Bom saying something like "oh Shit".
Later Bom was attacked with a drug scandal as "she" had drugs delivered to a family member's house in their name to avoid any type of negative attention. In late 2015, she is under another scandal as people dubbed her a plastic monster for appearing to have undergone another nose job.

But it wasn't just her who was verbally slandered at the latest 2NE1 appearance. As Minzy and CL was also attacked. CL was attacked because she wore a ton of makeup and Minzy for having her nose done. It appears that only 2NE1's international fans are still supporting the girls as their Korean ones are attacking them.

The only one not under fire is Dara, who has returned to acting by starring in a web drama.

There is a lot of negativity about the Korean entertainment world, which is one of the reasons why I started this blog. South Korea is traditionally number 2 or 3 on the list of countries with the highest suicide rates per year. This is a globally rating, which means that Korea has the second highest suicide rate in the whole world. It's the number 1 for plastic surgeries. So before we judge the entertainment industry we must focus on the society of the country.

There are a ton of women in South Korea who have plastic surgery yet they basically try to kill the careers of women who admit to having surgeries. Yet this is the standard method of beauty in the country, so how can this be right? There is a lot of rumors that the idols are basically slaves to the companies they work for. Which is something I agree with, I do believe that these girls and guys are slaves to companies like YG, JYP, etc.

As of now I do believe that YG has to be the shittest manager as his excuse for why Bom's drug scandal was truly hilarious. Plus G-Dragon's numerous scandals and Psy's anti-American scandal. He is fucking up the chance to inspire so many females out there but due to poor management, I believe that YG is killing 2NE1.

CL's solo rap career is ridiculous, her "hello bitches" video was so freaking weak. It wasn't anything but sexual yet this new appearance doesn't really do much for me. In 2NE1, she is sexy but also a badass. Despite how good of a dancer Minzy is, they really aren't doing anything with her. Even Bom has skills but they are not able to manage her well. They even have some kind of business relationship with Will.i.a.m who is one of the most famous musicians in the world and yet they are not properly using that relationship well. It's really sad to this group crash as they were my favorite K-pop group and I believed them to be the best K-pop group in Korea.

Don't be shy to share your opinion.

Multiple Strikes on the leader of Big Bang: G-Dragon

G-Dragon is the leader of the YG Entertainment group Big Bang. He mainly serves as a rapper and a producer though he tries to sing once in a while I believe. A lot of girls go crazy for this guy but I can't find a single reason as to why,

The man does not have a clean record at all, he has been involved in many scandals mostly ones dealing with drugs. He once took a picture of white powder that someone made to look like a cute heart and wrote the name "Molly" in the center. For those that don't know, Molly is a slang term for MDMA an ingredient in Escasty. As a lot of people would guess, there was a huge outrage directed at YG himself for not educating his idols about drug use. A year or two prior to this scandal he was caught smoking weed in Japanese club. He claimed he did not know he was smoking weed and didn;t inhale.
Even if he did not know he was smoking weed,  he would have still inhaled. He was also involved in another scandal in which he was said to have dry humped a backup dancer on stage. I watched the video and my verdict is that he was dry humping the girl at one point and I would be really surprised if they didn't have sex backstage after the show.

There is one scandal I don't really shame him for. And that scandal is about his love life. He has been linked to a Japanese model. I don't really blame him for it simply because it is his life. Idols are not gods like many fans believe them to be. They are just people, like us.
