Goodbye to 2NE1

There were only 3 options for YG to commit to once Minzy left the group. Either replace her with a rookie, allow the group to go on as a trio or simply disband the group. YG really messed up by not using all of his artists. 2NE1 to my eyes, was the best female group in Korea and the most popular one outside of Asia. I think only CL will be releasing more albums in the future despite the four declaring they will release solo albums.

I believe Dara will go on to win numerous awards as an actress, Bom might drop off the radar, and Minzy may spend more time dancing and appearing on reality shows. It's sad to see such a great group split up but I believe its due to poor management. I have no problem with the group disbanding I felt like it was a little too early. Once again, I blame YG because they pushed CL's music down our throats while the other three did their own thing.

Minzy is currently signed with Music Works (a subsidiary of the CJ Group) and is working on a solo album in which she will be exploring different genres of music. She will be releasing her first solo single "I wanted To Love" sometime this year. She's slated to join the cast of Sister's Slam Dunk, a reality TV currently in it's second season.

Dara is still signed to YG Entertainment but doesn't have an album in the works at the moment. She will star in the upcoming film One Step and is the host of Get It Beauty (a cosmetics review program). Dara has performed since leaving 2Ne1 but I left wondering if she will continue being a singer.

Bom also did not re-sign with YG but she still took part in the groups final song "Goodbye" in early 2017. So far she has nothing in the works but she did share a letter to her fans on Twitter. Due to her scandals and backlash at her appearance I don't believe another company will sign her. I really do want her to simply be happy as she feels like she is battling the demons of depression.

CL will be releasing a solo English album that I will not bother with. She has been touring and getting ready to release her album. Out of the four she probably has the best market appeal although I lost respect for her after her newest releases. I don't like what she or her company is doing.

Anyway, in the long run they were a great group and YG will lose even more money now with his only truly big act being Big Bang.

Goodbye to 2ne1

Multiple Strikes on the leader of Big Bang: G-Dragon

G-Dragon is the leader of the YG Entertainment group Big Bang. He mainly serves as a rapper and a producer though he tries to sing once in a while I believe. A lot of girls go crazy for this guy but I can't find a single reason as to why,

The man does not have a clean record at all, he has been involved in many scandals mostly ones dealing with drugs. He once took a picture of white powder that someone made to look like a cute heart and wrote the name "Molly" in the center. For those that don't know, Molly is a slang term for MDMA an ingredient in Escasty. As a lot of people would guess, there was a huge outrage directed at YG himself for not educating his idols about drug use. A year or two prior to this scandal he was caught smoking weed in Japanese club. He claimed he did not know he was smoking weed and didn;t inhale.
Even if he did not know he was smoking weed,  he would have still inhaled. He was also involved in another scandal in which he was said to have dry humped a backup dancer on stage. I watched the video and my verdict is that he was dry humping the girl at one point and I would be really surprised if they didn't have sex backstage after the show.

There is one scandal I don't really shame him for. And that scandal is about his love life. He has been linked to a Japanese model. I don't really blame him for it simply because it is his life. Idols are not gods like many fans believe them to be. They are just people, like us.

Stand strong and wave your country's flag: Tzuyu

Tzuyu is a Taiwanese idol in the JYP entertainment K-pop group Twice. Recently she appeared on a Korean variety show holding a Taiwanese flag alongside a Korean flag and there was a Japanese flag (members of Twice are multi-national).

There was a big outcry from Chinese netizens about this, a Chinese singer basically accused her of being an independent Taiwanese activist. Which is a huge no-no because a lot of mainland Chinese get butt hurt about that stuff.
Her group went on to win the Best New Performer award at the 30th Golden Disc Awards. She stated that there is only china and that she is sorry for her Taiwanese and Chinese fans. JYP Entertainment basically made her apologize to China. But this caused a lot of Taiwanese people to get angry because they felt like China was bullying her for showing her nationalism by waving her country's flag. I can see why since in the video the girl looks scared and a bit weak to be honest. Some people said that it was like watching a hostage video.

I truly feel sorry for this young woman and I wish her all the best.

On a side note, I am a full supporter for Taiwanese Independence, the Yellow Umbrella movement, and Tibetian independence. So I felt like JYP took a wrong turn with this "scandal" though business wise this was quite smart because he knows he gets a lot of cash from China by promoting Chinese girls in his companies groups. But he is selling out almost as worse as Michael Bay is.

Korean Lolita: Is it EXID'S Hani - Quick one

Hani is a member of a slightly infamous k-pop group called EXID (Exceed in Dreaming). The group has already come under fire for bullying another EXID member by the name of Hyerin. The cause of the newest bit of scandal is due to Hani. The ever popular Lee Byung-hun is said to have been in a relationship with a much younger female idol in 2015, most people believe this idol to be Hani.

Hani's label Yedang Entertainment has declared war on rumormongers who are attacking Hani with ridiculous statements (in their own words).

I won't try to jump the gun on this but with Lee Byung-hun's taste in much younger women, this scandal could also be true. If you look online there are various sites who believe that Hani is another young girl Lee Byung-hun has preyed upon. In honest opinion, I do believe that Lee Byung-hun is cheating on his wife but I am not certain as to what girl he is cheating with. Lee Min-jung, (Lee Byung-hun's wife is 12 years younger than him) nor Lee Byung has made any comments toward the scandal as far as I know. But I kind of feel sorry for Lee Min-jung as I was a big fan of hers but not anymore. She deserves pity for having a husband who has been involved in so many scandals from gambling, sex with younger women, and for asking younger women sexual questions while in the house he shares with his wife.

According to an article on Koreaboo, that was released about 19 hours ago Hani is currently under fire for lying. I think there are many angry fans that have turned against her because she tends to talk without thinking I guess. Anyway, she has announced she is in a relationship with another idol. Many of her fans were once scared for her health because she always worried about being fat or not so she was doing some questionable things to lose weight.

I'm not really certain about this girl because there are many bad things written about her and she kind of seems stketchy.
But for now I will close the book on Hani until there is new developments of any of her scandals or she proves to the world she is not as good looking as she appears.

The beauty got scammed: Ailee's nude photos

My favorite Korean singer is Ailee, I describe her as a Korean singer, not because the fact that she is Korean but she is also an American I say Korean because she is famous in Korea and not America.

Ailee was caught up in a scandal a few years ago that caused me to look at her twice in disappointment. Nude photos were released of her by one of her ex-boyfriends. Ailee claimed that she sent the photos to a fashion company to see if she has a good enough body to represent the company. Which is a total lie, which caused me to be disappointed in her. I don't care if she is having sex or has a boyfriend I just want her to deliver the music basically. To me, she is the most vocally powerful Korean pop singer.

Plus the website Allkpop released nude photos of her then tried to edit the nudes with black bars after they received some criticism eventually they took them down and they are facing many boycotts as well.

So there has been an update to the story, apparently the New Jersey Police Department has confirmed that Ailee's story is legit. She was scammed, according to iamkorean.com. One thing I have to say about is Ailee is that is a strong woman as she continued to perform despite crying on stage and the stress of performing in Korea while being involved in a scandal. So I applaud her for that fact but the fact is she was still tricked and I hope she is not that naive anymore.

I will not post her nude photos here in respect to the artist.

This has been Seul, I will have another update tomorrow. Have a good day and remember to take care of yourself.
