Yoo Sun

 Yoo Sun is a 39 year old actress who made her debut in 1999.  According to research she is best known for her performances in Black House, GLove, and Don't Cry Mommy. Lucky for me, I have seen all three of those films.



Her performance in GLove was not bad, her character was kind of like the guiding light of the team. She was the happy innocent teacher who could spit out venom when she needed to. This showed a different side of Sun as she normally does dark films. It was very fun to watch her, it was kind of different to see her smile. I watched Black House and Moss before I ever saw GLove. So if you have seen those movies then be prepared to see a different Sun.

Don't Cry Mommy is a sicking tale that drags Sun's character all across hell. She shows a kind of suffering that seemed very natural. I don't blame her for the way her character and the story developed. The film is ruined by the weak character development and predictability. This could of been the best performance of her career but due to the defects I mentioned this movie fails to be anything that good.

In Moss, she plays a village resident who is used sexually by the head of the village. Her character is very calculating, you never know what she will do or what side she is on. As in Black House, her character is also unpredictable. Her role in the film is her best work at least to me. I was blown away with her acting range in the film. She could play as the prey and the predator.

I am a fan of Yoo Sun, she is beautiful and talented. I hope she is able to get more work. Today is Halloween in my country and the fact that most of her movies are in the Horror/Mystery genre I thought she was a good actress to write about it.
