Black House
A horror movie that will make you think twice about appearances and crime.
"
During his first day as an insurance investigator, Jeon Joon-oh, receives a phone call from a lady enquiring if a life insurance policy could be collected if someone commits suicide. A few days later Joon-oh is asked to personally come to the home of an insurance policy holder.
When Joon-oh arrives at their home he is greeted by a grim man. They talk for a little while, before the father asks the insurance agent to go into their son’s room and have a talk with him. When the insurance agent opens the son’s door he finds the boy hanging from a noose, dead from an apparent suicide.
The father then shows up Joon-oh’s office and asks for the money pertaining to his son’s life insurance policy. Joon-oh is suspicious of the man and tells him he has to wait until the coroner’s report comes in. The man becomes furious and then leaves. The father returns the next day and the next day and the next day. Finally Joon-oh’s boss decides to pay the man his son’s life insurance policy. Joon-oh’s life doesn’t return to normal and in fact descends further downward because of a stalker that may well be the insurance policy holder that they just paid off."

Jeon Jooh-oh is a old fashioned good man who believes in finding the truth behind the matters. But he decides to use his eyes to determine who is guilty instead of using his brain. When he finally manages to think things through his whole world changes. The Father is a man who acts quite crazily which would cause everyone to stay away from him but that isn't what Jeon Jooh-oh does. The two clash that will end with both of their lives changed forever.

Jeong Jooh-oh (Hwang Jung-min) is a very good insurance salesman who is quite good at being a detective that you would think he would rather be a police officer. Instead he changes to handle insurance claims but that doesn't make him a pushover. Jeong will do anything he can to solve a case even if he has to bend the rules.

The Wife of the "Father", she plays quite a good submissive living in a very rundown place with little money and a crazy husband. We don't see her until the latter part of the beginning of the movie. She is a very important character that will change Jeong's life forever.

Hwang Jung Min is a stellar actor who plays different characters and is quite good at all of them. He is my top 5th favorite actor in the while world. His acting is quite "real" in a way, he is a truly a remarkable actor.
Yoo Sun is such a pretty and a talented actress that just doesn't do enough work. In this film she plays a character that you think she is naturally good at. She truly was good in this film and I hope to catch her other movies.
The movie suffers due to some of the minor actors and the script could use some
It's not the best horror movie but it is a decent thriller that might have you on the edge on your seat wishing for more.

The Wig
A interesting film that turned the wrong way
"A young woman named Soo-hyeon (Chae Min-seo) is struggling against cancer and her older sister Ji-hyeon (Yoo Sun) decides that she should take her home so that she really can enjoy what little time she has left rather than to spend it in a hospital. Ji-hyeon is a mute, during a car accident which impaled her throat, she now cannot speak again and can only make rasping noises at the most, despite this, she is a very strong person and very caring for her little sister. She buys a long haired wig with bangs for her so that she can go out without having to feel ashamed of herself, what she doesn't know is that the wig is cursed"
The Wig had so much potential but it really took a wrong turn somewhere and become very bad towards the end. In the beginning of the film we see two broken girls who are just trying to heal but seem to be in a bad place. The older sister lives for the younger sister basically and does all she can to help her younger sibling.
Soo hyeon is a cancer patient who has lost all of her hair due to chemotherapy and has no confidence or really the will to live. That is until her elder sister buys her a wig that is actually cursed but it gives Soo hyeon confidence and we see her character change drastically. She starts to dress and act sexy to the point she does whatever she wants. She even starts to seduce her elder sisters former fiancée.
Ji-hyeon is the elder sister whom can not speak due to a car accident in which a piece of glass lodged into her throat. We can see from the beginning that Ji-hyeon will do anything for her younger sister. She really is strong willed but at times her care only makes things harder. Eventually she buys a wig for her younger sister that is really cursed. She is the kind of sister you would want if you had an older sister.
Yoo Sun is no hands down my favorite part of the movie, I simply enjoy her as an actress. I believe she doesn't get enough starring roles which is sad. Yoo Sun really portrays the younger sister really well which impressed me enough to watch her other roles. If you don't know her I suggest you watch some of her movies since she is one of my favorite actresses.
Chae Min-seo does a great job at portraying a character that goes through so many changes. I haven't seen her before but I hope I will be able to see her act again.
The major problem with this movie is that the plot truly goes so bad towards the end of the movie to the point that is it almost unwatchable. It had a lot of potential in the beginning but sadly whoever directed and wrote this film did not know what to do.
I suggest this film to those that like horror movies.
