Today's Update + MY Dramas to watch list

Hi, everyone!

I recently started to watching Korean dramas again after Netflix added Padam Padam. One of my favorite dramas of all time. Anyway, Netflix Streaming has been stockpiling dramas lately as the genre becomes even more popular. It's a smart tactic to try to get more people to subscribe to the business as well satisfying their current subscribers.

Three dramas on my to watch list includes:

Tamara, The Island (2009) - A young British man gets shipwrecked and finds himself in Korea. It's a romantic comedy that touches subjects like Xenophobia & Foreign policy. It's been on my list for a while but now that Netflix has it I'll be sure to watch it.

This Is My Love aka Beloved Eun-dong (2015) -  A writer decides it's time for him to release his autobiography. So with no desire to write it himself, he hires a ghostwriter named Seo Jung-eun. The two don't communicate when the project starts, he leaves her recorded messages about the memories he wants to be included in the book. The main reason for me to want to watch this is Kim Sa-rang! I am a big fan of hers and also I got a taste of this drama after watching the first episode on Dramafever.

Love Again (2012) Love and drama fly as four primary school classmates meet after 30 years. Each other has their own set of problems. I love second chance romances and truly dramatic dramas once in a while.

As for the topic of today's post, it is on the dark side of Korean entertainment. It will be about the tragedy of one actress that never truly had the opportunity to see great success but she recieved so much attention at the end of her life.
