Lifetime ban for two professional Korean starcraft players

Starcraft is a popular PC game that Koreans are known to be great at. A few people are able to make a career out of playing Starcraft games. So far two individuals fromThe Korean Esports Association have been banned for fixing matches. This seems a bit odd as I never heard of match-fixing in the Esports world but I've heard of fixing boxing matches. This whole event is a bit odd but understandable. These people do deserve to be banned if they were cheating. So now these guys wasted all the time they invested in getting good at the game just to lose everything.

11 people have been indicted on charges of match-fixing. A few years prior an American player accused a few other Korean players of match-fixing. Those accusations were proven and those people went to jail too. So this idea of match-fixing Esports is no a new event. It seem's there are even more scandals involving Korean Esports players. I will inform you of any other information I find. Have a good day.
