Why I dislike Lee Byung Hun

I actually dislike this actor a lot despite some of his stellar performances. My dislike for him was created when he started to do American films with his poor English language skills and even worse reputation.

I was shocked to discover that he was involved in a gambling scandal, another scandal in 2014, and he has the balls to cheat on Lee Min-jung. In 2014 a recording of Lee Byung Hun asking two younger idols sexual questions at his home. The two girls tried to blackmail Lee Byung Hun but the man decided to inform the police and eventually the two girls were arrested. I  actually don't blame them for many reasons, but I believe that Lee Byung Hun was at fault.

Why would he have two young idols over at the house he shares with his pregnant wife? It seems quite sketchy to me and even more so when you realize that he was asking them sexual questions.

As an actor in Korea he is great but that is not too accurate about his English performances. With appears in the GI Joes in the forgettable role of Storm Shadow and as a villain in Red 2. Despite all of his time doing Hollywood films, you would think that he would take classes on how to speak the language better. I will say that he is better than Jackie Chan, but there are many international actors who know English a lot better than Jackie.

In the end, I choose to watch films with people I can respect at least. Lee Byung Hun doesn't really have my respect anymore even after I gave a rave review of Masquerade.

  1. He seems shady, i also wonder why the two girls took all the blame, while he plays innocent. Not his fan, dont think he is that great of an actor.
