Standstill in Korea: Park Geun-hye

The President of South Korea, Park Geun-hye, is facing impeachment due to several allegations of corruption. Right now, she is simply hanging around the blue house doing nothing as she has no power at the moment. President Park is accused of abuse of authority, coercion, attempted coercion, and attempted fraud. One of the allegations accused her of forcing companies to donate millions of dollars to charities she owns. We can all assume if she did this it wasn't for the good of the people. 

Samsung has also been mentioned but there is noting further mentioned about the company. Park happens to be friends with the daughter of an accused cult leader who has a very bad reputation.  I will read up more on topic and give a more in-depth post about it. 

Park has stated she has committed an unpardonable crime but her lawyer says this is not a declaration of guilt. It sure does seem like it!

Man vs Machine: Korean Go Master beats a Super computer built by Google

A 33-year-old Korean Go master was able to beat a super computer built by Google after taking three losses. Lee Se-dol earns a "W" for all humans. But the idea that they can build a machine that can compete with some of the best people in their field is a bit scary. Lee won the match by making enough right moves to make the computer surrender during the match.

The man in charge of the machine states that they will improve the computer which makes you wonder are we going to far with Ai? When people like Bill Gates are afraid of what will happen once we perfect an Ai. The reality of what the future might look like is so damn scary. For now, I will praise Lee on this wonderful success for the human race.
