GLAM was a rising K-pop group who released their first single in 2012 but it wasn't until 2013 when they released "I like it" did they start to gain some fame. One of their members Da Hee, even starred in a drama which added more attention to the group.
But in 2014 it seemed like the group wasn't doing anything and appeared to have lost their spot in the spotlight until Da Hee was involved in a scandal that "ended" the group. It seems like the group ended beforehand even though I think the group could have been the company's meal ticket. As I thought they had a lot of ponetital to be the next hit K-pop group.
Sadly, amongst the scandal we forget about the other 3 members of the group. But the former leader of the group Jiyeon made an appearance for the first time this year since the scandal. She was trying to be a contasant on the TV show Show me the Money 4. To the shock of the judges she chose to rap about the scandal. They all agreed that her lyrics should off her emotion well but one judge did not like her delivery and thus she was not accepted onto the show.
Was it her positon as leader of a group slapped with a scandal the cause of her denial? I mean Korea is known to be a place of repuation or face, so does that mean that the producers denided her because she happened to be in the same group as Da Hee? I don't know, but I truly hope Jiyeon and the other members are able to accomplish whatever they want to.
Like the late great rapper 2pac once said "Keep your head up"
