A comedic vampire that has true value

"A mosquito from Transylvania finds its way to Seoul where it bites Na Do-yol, a corrupt police officer. Soon after he begins to develop a thirst for blood, and finds out that he has vampire super powers whenever he becomes sexually aroused. When Do-yol's past misdeeds come back to threaten his partner and girlfriend, he decides to clean up his act and sets out for revenge"



When NAH Do-yul wakes up one day he has piercing yellow eyes and fangs but he still manages to get into work but eventually starts making excuses on why he always arrives late now. There's no one close enough to really notice not even his hardworking girlfriend who runs a lingerie store.


NAH Do-yul (Kim Su-ro) is a very hardworking officer forced to look the other way thanks to his superior officers and his own greedy motives. We see Nah Do-yul grow into a man after learning he is a monster with no way of turning back. Do-yul must discover how to fully uses his powers in order to save the people he care for and the people he swore to protect.


Yeom-hee is Nah Do-yul's hardworking girlfriend who runs a lingerie shop. She doesn't know what's going on but still stands by her lover. She is one of the reasons why do-yul rethinks his life and he becomes a vampire.


Kim Su-ro was totally excellent in this film, he demonstrates his ability as a comedic actor that can do dramatic scenes as well. His portrayal of Do-yul was truly interesting even if the movie is a little dry. Thanks mainly due to the direction, lighting, and script. I only hope that the sequel will be better than this one.

I suggest this film to those that like supernatural comedies.
